Your questions answered

Everything you might want to ask.

Grouped by what you're likely wondering — from getting a quote through the work itself to how our artificial grass holds up. If your question isn't here, just call and ask.

Before you call

Do you charge for a quote?

No. Quotes are free and come with no obligation. We'll come out to look at the job — a patio, a driveway, fencing, brickwork or a full garden rebuild — take the measurements, talk through your options and materials, and put a clear price to it. You're under no pressure to go ahead.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes. Installment payment options are available, so a bigger job — a full landscaping scheme or a new driveway — doesn't have to be paid for all at once. Ask us when we quote and we'll talk you through it.

When are you open?

Seven days a week, 6am to 8pm. Being open every day means we can usually get out to look at a job quickly and work around your week rather than the other way round. Call 0800 002 5190 or 07391 507190, or drop us a WhatsApp.

What areas do you cover?

We're based at the Old Stone Yard in Runfold near Farnham and cover a wide area across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire — Farnham, Fleet, Farnborough, Basingstoke, Camberley, Guildford, Woking, Bracknell, Ascot and plenty of towns and villages in between. If you're not sure you're in range, just ask.

Do you take on small jobs, or only big ones?

Both. We build whole gardens from the ground up, but we'll also lay a single patio, put in a run of fencing, repoint a wall or install artificial grass. Plenty of jobs start small and grow — and repeat customers like Sue Weir have had us back within a few months.

About the work

Who will actually do my job?

The Levelpoint team — Cam (Camden), Sam and Steve. It's a family-owned firm and the same people who quote the work carry it out, which is why reviewers name Cam, Sam and Steve personally. There's no anonymous crew and no sales layer between you and the people on the tools.

How do you make sure paving and driveways last?

It's all in the base you don't see. We dig out and build up on a properly consolidated sub-base, lay to correct falls so water runs off, and — where the ground's wet — install land drainage to pull water away. One customer had us remove a large amount of clay and fit several land drains before a new Kandla Grey patio went down. That groundwork is what stops paving lifting or sinking a few winters on.

What paving and driveway materials do you offer?

For patios and paving: porcelain tiles, block paving, and natural stone including limestone, sandstone, granite and Kandla Grey Indian sandstone. For driveways: tarmac, imprinted (patterned) concrete, natural stone, block paving and gravel. We'll talk you through which suits your garden, frontage and budget.

What fencing do you install?

We supply and install lap larch panel fencing in 4ft, 5ft and 6ft heights, on timber, concrete or gravel board posts — with concrete posts and gravel boards being the route to a fence that doesn't rot at the base. We also do repairs and custom sizing where a run doesn't fit standard panels.

Do you clear up afterwards?

Always. Clearing the site properly is the thing our reviewers mention most — all debris cleared and taken away, the garden swept and left tidy. As one put it, the team worked their socks off and left the place better than they found it.

Artificial grass

Is your artificial grass a certified installation?

Yes — we're certified installers of synthetic turf. It's laid on a prepared, free-draining base with the edges properly secured, so it sits flat, drains well and lasts, rather than rucking or lifting at the seams.

Is it safe for pets and children?

It is. The turf we install is pet and child safe, UV-resistant so it holds its colour in the sun, and water-saving — once it's down there's no mowing, no watering and no muddy patches, just a clean, usable lawn all year.

Where does artificial grass work best?

It's a strong choice for shaded spots where real grass struggles, busy family gardens that take a lot of wear, and low-maintenance frontages. We'll tell you honestly whether it's the right answer for your garden or whether a hardwearing real turf would suit you better.
